We were so happy to be a part of Paige and Giorgio's beautiful wedding in North Yorkshire, UK, at the most magical venue - The Tithe Barn. Paige got ready on her wedding morning in the Diana Robe matching with the Diana halterneck top and shorts. Let's have a look:

1.  Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship?

We are Paige & Giorgio. We have been together for 5 years and we are professional ballet dancers based in London. We live with our two gorgeous Ragdoll kitties, Pippin + Gatsby.
Started as a friendship that blossomed into true love. In summer 2019, the two of us travelled to Verona, Italy to dance in a new production of Romeo & Juliet. We laughed and danced, ate amazing food and the most delicious wine until the end of our contract. We parted ways but kept in touch. By Christmas time, I came to visit Giorgio and we knew we had something special. I was always travelling for work but a couple months later Giorgio hopped on a plane and asked me to be his girlfriend in Budapest. 3 weeks later ? LOCKDOWN!!!!
Some say Boris may have helped initiate what some would fear the most at the very start of a relationship.. moving in together – little did we know, what was supposed to be a 3-week lockdown turned into months with no end. Me & Giorgio’s love grew deeper through the still days. Nothing ever came in our way, not even a pandemic, in fact it made it what it is today. There is a silver lining in every dark day and this love is a love that won’t ever decay.

2. Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details

We got married on the 10th July 2024. Our special day was held at The Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire. I grew up around the area and Giorgio found the venue after hours of research!.  It immediately felt like home when we took our first steps in there. The barn over looks some gorgeous views and the abbey itself. It’s a very romantic setting, like something out of a movie. Sage Green is our favourite colour and it luckily matched the venue very well. We paired the barn with some gorgeous greens, whites and ivory florals from Bureau Botany and Hidden Botanics. My Bridesmaids had a lovely silk green floral dress from Zara and I hand curated their bouquets! I love the flowers in a basket trend and this was one of my favourite details for the girls. We really didn’t need to do much decorating as the venue just speaks for itself. My favourite detail has to be the brooch I bought for my mother. They are words from the heart and I wanted my mum to know how much I appreciate and love her before I said ‘I do’.

3. How did you spend the morning of your wedding? How did you deal with the nerves leading up to the wedding?

Giorgio and myself were so excited we couldn’t really sleep. I’m so happy with how the morning went. It was just so ZEN!. All I needed was some coffee and hash browns and I was good to go!  My girls got ready in another room and came to mine when they were ready. I feel more brides should do this. It was so relaxed for us all. They had a different hair and MUA to me which helped us stay on time too!. We even managed a 45-minute photo shoot with Courtney and Liv!!! It wasn’t until I got in the car to the venue that the nerves and emotions kicked in. I was crying before I even came down the aisle and I was told Giorgio was crying too!.

4. Tell us about your main outfits of the wedding day

Giorgio wore a 3-piece suit from suit supply, (sage green), white shirt partnered with a champagne-coloured tie and Boss shoes. My dress and veil are from Pronovias and I paired them with Manolo Blahnik shoes. Giorgio gift me some gorgeous sapphire earrings rings to match my eyes 🙂. (his words hehe).
In the evening, I wore a second gown and believe it or not I found it in the best vintage shop. (Catherine Smith Vintage, Harrogate). It was inspired by the white dress worn by Grace Kelly in ‘To Catch a Thief’.
In the morning, I wore the lovely Diana set by you guys. It was so comfy and relaxing and it suited all my accessories, hair and makeup perfectly! The Diana set made me feel Beautiful ❤️.

 5. What items or services did you think were a waste of money? VS what are you so glad you splurged on?

Honestly, we don’t regret buying one thing for our wedding. Though we did do a lot of DIY, which is totally worth it as you become so involved with the creation of your day. It was an amazing feeling seeing it all come together and thinking ‘wow’ we did that!. We are very happy we did a mix of dried and fresh flowers (Bureau Botany). We decided to gift the dried flower centrepieces on the guest tables (Hidden Botanics) to family members. Dried flowers helped us save a lot of money and they last years! They will always be a nice memory when seeing them in your home. When you are in the process of getting quotes, prices can seem overwhelming but honestly, you won’t regret a thing on your day. All of our entertainment was one of the best things we splurged on. We had a harpist, Soraya Vermeulen for the ceremony and reception, Frankly Jazz for our wedding breakfast and Fairvue for our evening entertainment. They were all INCREDIBLE. Live music beats a playlist any day.

6. Any advice you would like to give to future brides?

Follow your heart on what you both want. You won’t regret the decisions you make as they will come from YOU. We got so many different opinions on how things should be done and I’m so happy we stuck to our ideas. You know yourself and you know your partner. Don’t forget what the day is about, we got so consumed with everything looking perfect  to please people sometimes, but it really just comes down to you and your partners love. That is what we are all celebrating at the end of the day!.
Really take the time with your photographer, these photos are for life and I’m so glad we got a few shoots in with them during the day.
People will cancel with short notice. Try not to take it heart. I know it’s not fair as a lot of time and effort has gone in to the day for them. We found other people to join us instead who were so supportive and loving, you will forget all about the people that cancelled on the day!.
