Celebrating the magic of Frankie and Sam’s timeless Ibiza wedding was nothing short of extraordinary! Frankie looked radiant in her bespoke bridal robe by Meeka as she got ready to say 'I do' in the sun-kissed beauty of Ibiza. Her bridesmaids, dressed in chic Meeka PJs, embodied effortless elegance that fit the island vibe perfectly. Their day was filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments, perfectly capturing their deep connection to the island that’s been central to their love story. Let's have a look:

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship?

I’m a beauty buyer for ASOS, working in London and living just outside in Hertfordshire. I’m obsessed with beauty, fashion, interiors, and anything else I can be creative with.  I started coming to Ibiza as a little girl with my family and fell in love with it instantly. We came regularly—my sister, parents, great aunt and uncle, plus cousins—and made special memories in some of my favorite spots on the island, like the villages of Cala Vadella and San Jose. Since that first trip, I’ve been back over 10 times with my family.  Sam, my now-husband, shares a love for Spain, though his connection to Ibiza started later. He first visited at 19 with close mates (still some of his best friends), and Pikes quickly became a favorite. It’s also where he proposed to me in 2022, making it an unforgettable part of our story.  Ibiza has been a constant in our relationship. It was one of our first conversation topics on our first date, the destination of our first holiday together, and somewhere we’ve returned to every year. We’ve done nearly everything—jet skiing, snorkeling around the island, boat trips to Formentera, eating endless paella and tapas, exploring old Ibiza Town, and the occasional night out. We can’t imagine a year in our future without coming back.

Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details

I’ve always loved the magic of Ibiza—the sunsets, hidden gems, and excitement of  arriving on the island. I knew I wanted an outdoor wedding where we could watch the sun go down and dine by candlelight. Being detail-oriented, I incorporated little surprises for our guests and elements of traditional Ibiza heritage. My goal was a chic, timeless, elegant wedding that still felt like Ibiza. We had traditional Spanish cuisine and Ibiza DJ Jo Mills at the reception. For florals, I chose blue and lilac hydrangeas to tie in with the blue skies and pool, while bridesmaids carried simple Cala Lilies. My bouquet featured hydrangeas and lilies with long stems and vintage ribbon. The ceremony was held in front of the villa, with draped fabric framing the stunning balcony backdrop. I walked down the aisle to Sweet Disposition played on piano, making the moment unforgettable. Planning the day was a joy, and creating something our guests would love was truly special.

How did you spend the morning of your wedding? How did you deal with the nerves leading up to the wedding?

My nerves leading up to the wedding versus the wedding morning were polar opposites! Before the wedding, I was very anxious—having an abroad wedding made me overthink everything that could go wrong, especially things out of my hands like cancelled flights or the weather. But on the wedding morning, I was so relaxed I even surprised myself. Having incredible bridesmaids, an amazing wedding planner, and a great team made all the difference. Everything was under control, no one was asking me stressful questions, and the morning was calm with our favorite songs, a few drinks, and plenty of space. I was so chill I even found myself scrolling on TikTok at one point! We got ready on the balcony overlooking the ceremony, so I could watch the setup, which made me so excited. Peeking through the curtain and seeing the guests arrive is a moment I wish I could relive forever.

Tell us about your main outfits of the wedding day

On the morning of the wedding, my bridesmaids and I were all dressed in Meeka, of course! The girls absolutely loved their PJs—they fit the Ibiza wedding vibe perfectly—and I was obsessed with my bridal robe. Believe it or not, I tried on 42 dresses before finding the one! My gown was by Chosen by Kyha, a corset top with a detachable A-line skirt, which sold me because it gave me the option to get creative with my second party look. I think I surprised everyone by choosing a full-skirt dress instead of the slinky halter style most friends expected. My bespoke veil had a tiny detail—embroidered “love you Moore,” our little saying and new joint last name. My shoes were Prada, and my wedding fragrance was Forest by Romy, an Australian brand. For the party, I swapped the big skirt for a fun, bespoke Annie’s Ibiza-inspired mini skirt that perfectly paired with my wedding dress corset. I wore lace gloves with flared sleeves that moved with me—also bespoke—completing the party look.

What items or services do you recommend saving or splurging on?

We really splurged on the food and drink. We wanted everyone to have the best wedding food possible, and our catering definitely delivered. The food was delicious, and everyone was so full that hardly anyone could touch the dessert table later in the evening. Food is a big thing people remember from a wedding, so it’s definitely worth investing in. We didn’t bother with some of the usual wedding details like a cake or a photo booth. Instead of a photo booth, I asked one of my bridesmaids to go around taking Polaroids of each guest. They then stuck the pictures in our guest book and wrote a cute note. It worked so much better than a photo booth and didn’t pull people away from the dance floor for long.

Any advice you would like to give to future brides?

Take a moment together at points during the day to look out at the wedding you created. It’s over in a flash, and you’ll want to lock in memories that will stay with you for life. We also loved having a sweetheart table at dinner. It was a perfect time to just be the two of us and watch all our guests having the best time. We would definitely recommend this. Make sure you give roles to each of your bridesmaids for the morning of the wedding. I think this was key to having an stress-free morning.
