We are so excited to share with you a sneak preview of Katheryn and Felix's spectacular big day in Miami! With the biggest WOW factor dress - 'Katheryn became walking piece of art in this dress' - PS photography and films
We are delighted that Katheryn chose our signature MEEKA boyfriend shirts for her bridal party to get ready in, with bespoke black embroidered initials on each cuff making it such a special gift for her girls!
We asked Katheryn a little bit more about her relationship and her dream come true wedding:

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship?

Felix and I have known each and been together for 8 years. We met each other at a pivotal point of our lives, when we were wrapping up our college days and transitioning into the "real world" . I love how we worked together through that transition, how we still grew as independent people in addition to as a couple, how we watched each other face challenges but also accomplish so many things. How we never hold each other back, proven by how many times we've moved around the country for each other for our careers haha.. living in Chicago, San Francisco and now in Miami. Through it all, we have been each other's biggest support system and I love us for that.

How/where/when did you meet?

Felix and I met in New Orleans, Mardi Gras weekend our senior year of college through mutual friends. Story goes... the night he met me at the bar, he turned to a friend and said "I'm going to marry that girl"

Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details

Felix and I knew we wanted a modern and simple design. Which is why we chose the Miami Edition hotel as our reception venue - a beachfront hotel with clean, neutral colours and the best Le Labo signature scent you'll ever smell the moment you walk in. We knew we wanted to incorporate elements of the colour black into a lot of the setting, so that included my black bridesmaids dresses, a white/black checkered dance floor, and a few black table accents.

How did you spend the night before the wedding? How did you deal with the nerves leading up to the wedding?

The night before the wedding, we hosted a Welcome Drinks event at one of the Miami Beach's famous cocktail spots - the Broken Shaker. Being around friends and welcoming people from out of time for a few hours definitely helped take my mind off some of the nervousness.

Tell us about your main outfits of the wedding day

I wore an Ines Di Santo gown, it was a simple yet bold statement dress. It was open back with an a- symmetrical bow with an angled train. My photographer couldn't get enough it! My wedding veil was a bit unique in that the blusher went all the way to the ground.  Felix wore a custom tux jacket that included his initials "FU" on one sleeve and our wedding date engraved under this Lapel collar.

What were some of the most memorable/unique moments from the day?

Standing on the altar and reading our vows so confidently to each other. Never had a moment feel so right and so special.
