From meeting in a bar in London to making it official just a few weeks later to getting married in the Cape Winelands - the Bride, Chloe, stunned her bridal party with our Camillo Nude Bubble Robe & she showed up in our Camillo White Bubble Robe
Read about their magical love story & fairytale wedding.

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, and what is unique about you and your relationship.

Mike works in finance and I work in fitness as Head of Marketing for a boutique London gym. We both love to spend time with our friends and family, eating out at new or favourite restaurants and travelling around the world, finding new places and cultures! As cheesy as it sounds, it was love at first sight! Mike and I met in a bar in London and 3 weeks later we were official. Mike is my best friend, and I think the basis of any great marriage or partnership is friendship.

Care to tell us a little bit about your proposal?

Mike is from Cape Town in South Africa, which is where he proposed. He was adamant about going for a picnic (which I was less keen to do, but I'm glad I did!). We went to a beautiful wine farm in Constantia, where we had a gorgeous picnic spread and wine. He proposed there. I was so shocked I swear I didn't breathe for at least 30 seconds!!

Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling, and some of your favorite details.

We got married in Stellenbosch, the Winelands located just outside of Cape Town. We had a colour theme which was white, peach, and blush pink. Our style was modern and magical, with lots of white and lots of flowers! Our favourite setting was the dinner, where we had a full ceiling of hanging blush pink and peach roses, fairy lights lighting up the space, and white and gold tableware and place settings.

How did you spend the morning of your wedding? How did you deal with the nerves leading up to the wedding?

The morning of the wedding I was relatively relaxed, but it had been a slightly stressful leading up to the wedding. My wedding dress had been made slightly wrong and there was quite a delay in the expected timeline. I picked up my dress the day before we flew to Cape Town. On the day itself, I was just glad I and my dress had made it to the country! I was very nervous just before walking down the aisle, but deep breaths and lots of hugs from my bridesmaids and my dad helped me take the edge off.

Tell us about your main outfits for the wedding day.

I wore a dress by the Israeli designer Helena Kolan. It was made to measure and had a sheer lace bodice top with an A-line skirt. The dress material was slightly sparkly and shimmered in the sunshine - I felt like a princess! I had a long simple veil, shoes were Amina Muaddi. I didn't change for dancing as I wanted to spend every minute in my dress! I had a bustle made so I could hook my dress train up and dance freely.

What was your most special moment on the day?

The dinner and speeches. Having everyone you love in one place is so overwhelming, emotional, and magical. Hearing all the lovely words being spoken from your nearest and dearest was unbelievable - I don't think words can even describe this amazing experience!
